hristine Neitzke and Ria Davidson

Dragonfly Foundation co-founders, Christine Neitzke (left) and Ria Davidson (right) have been close friends for 23 years. That friendship extends to their husbands and their children. Both of their families have been devastated by cancer. In 2010, Christine's son, Matt, had Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Ria's mother-in-law, who lived with Ria's family, passed away 6-months after her diagnosis of brain and lung cancer.

Who better to start a non-profit than dedicated, passionate people who understand return on investment and who are and experienced in networking, public awareness/education and strategic planning?

Professionally, Christine and Ria bring to the organization more than 40 years of communications and external relations consulting expertise. Working for the same company for more than a decade, they managed local, regional and national communications programs for clients in virtually every industry and market segment. Their experience managing crisis communicaitons, public education and awareness and brand building projects has served The Dragonfly Foundation well.
